Citan climate control problems

Has anyone had issues with their Citan's climate control? My 2018 gasoline Citan has developed a strange fault. The blower motor won't kick in at all. I've run diagnostics and it's throwing up an AUC sensor fault – the air conditioning sensor. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection is the culprit, stopping the auto recirculation. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything specific I should be looking for before I start tearing things apart?

I had a similar problem on my Mercedes. If I remember correctly, the AUC sensor also affects the blower. Could be the sensor itself but yeah start with the connections. Have you checked the relevant fuses? It's located near the air intake.

Fuses were the first thing I checked, all good there. When you say 'similar problem', was it also an AUC sensor fault, or something else causing the blower issue? And did replacing the air conditioning sensor really fix the issue? Trying to avoid chasing ghosts here.

Yes, same sensor fault. I would check the wiring around the sensor. If you are not comfortable doing that, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They will be able to test the sensor and wiring properly.

Thanks for confirming. Turns out you were spot on; it was a corroded connector. Cleaned it up, and the blower's working again. Total cost was 95€ for the connector cleaner and some contact grease. Appreciate the help.
