Citan driver seat massage not working
Summary of the thread
The massage function on a 2018 Mercedes Citan driver's seat was not working, with diagnostics indicating a defective cable or plug connection as the cause. The issue was confirmed by an error code, and the estimated repair cost was 95€. A suggestion was made to check the fuses, but ultimately, the vehicle was taken to a workshop where the cable connection was repaired, restoring the massage function.

Thanks for your response. The massage function is completely inoperative. I haven't inspected the fuses yet. Could you specify which fuse controls the seat switch?

Right, completely dead. That's what happened to mine, too. I didn't check the fuses, I just took it to the workshop. Honestly, messing with the car upholstery and those tiny wires for a luxury car feature? Not worth the risk of messing things up even more. Save yourself the headache and let the pros handle it. They'll sort out the cable or plug connection quickly.

I appreciate the advice. I took the vehicle to a workshop. The defective cable connection was indeed the cause, and the massage function is now restored. Thanks for your assistance.

Massage seat not working? Sounds familiar. Does it ever work, or is it completely dead? Did you check the fuses? It's a simple thing but could save you a bunch of hassle before tearing into the car upholstery.
