Citan electric van headlight malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Mercedes Citan electric van experienced a headlight malfunction, with the low beam either pointing too low or too high. The issue was suspected to be a defective servomotor within the headlight. After consulting with others who had similar problems, it was confirmed that the servomotor was indeed faulty and needed replacement. The problem was resolved by taking the van to a workshop for repair.

That's good to know I'm not alone Did you manage to fix it yourself or did you end up taking it to a workshop And if you did take it in do you remember what the problem was exactly

I didn't dare try to fix it myself I took it straight to the workshop They told me the servomotor was faulty and needed replacing It sounds like you may have the same issue If you are unsure I would suggest you visit a workshop

Thanks so much for sharing your experience It's really helpful to know that it was likely the servomotor I took it to the workshop and you were right – that was exactly the problem The repair cost me 1040€ but at least it's fixed now Thanks again for your help
