Thanks for the quick response. I visually inspected the plug and it looks okay, but I haven't tested it with a multimeter. Where exactly is the boost sensor located on the air intake? I want to double check it. I'm getting a P0238 code.

P0238 confirms the boost sensor issue. The sensor is usually mounted on the intake manifold or near the turbocharger. Given your symptoms and the code, a faulty connection is highly probable. While a visual check is good, the cable or connector itself might be internally damaged. If you are not sure, I would suggest getting it checked by a workshop.

Thanks. I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was the boost pressure sensor connector. They replaced the connector, and the engine light is gone, the jerking stopped and the whistling is gone. Cost me 95€ to fix. Appreciate the help!

Sounds like a boost leak. I had similar issues on my Citan. Check engine light, jerking, and a whistling noise points to the air intake system. The pressure sensor could be the culprit, especially with the reduced engine power. Have you checked the connections to the boost sensor? A faulty plug can cause all sorts of problems. What OBD codes are you getting?
