Thanks for the quick response. Could you elaborate on the best method for checking the sensor's voltage? I'm familiar with using a multimeter, but I'm unsure of the appropriate pins to test on the solar sensor and what readings would indicate a fault.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to a workshop as you suggested. It was a faulty connection, just as the initial diagnostics indicated. The 95€ repair cost was accurate, and the heating is now functioning correctly. Thanks again for your help!

The car's computer might interpret the lack of signal as constant darkness, influencing the heating system's performance. Check the wiring harness first.
