Yes, Bluetooth. Already tried deleting and reconnecting multiple times; no change. Did you get any specific error codes?

I didn't note the error codes at the time, I'm afraid. However, the head unit was playing up. I ended up taking it to a trusted workshop to run diagnostics. They discovered a software glitch related to the Bluetooth module in my case. Considering this, I suggest visiting a workshop.

Thanks for the advice. It turned out to be a corrupted profile in the infotainment system. Workshop cleared it and re-paired my phone – cost 45€. All good now.

I had a similar issue with my BMW 3 Series, although a much newer model. The 'pairing' between the phone and car entertainment system was the problem. By 'pairing', are you referring to the Bluetooth connection? Have you tried deleting the device from your car's system and trying to reconnect?
