Citroen C2 Misfire

I'm experiencing combustion misfires in my 2008 Citroen C2, gasoline engine, with 157847 km. Symptoms include rough engine running, check engine light, jerking during acceleration, and reduced power. Suspect a defective injector valve.

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my C2. Have you checked the ignition coil as well? Misfires can be tricky.

Thanks for the quick response. I haven't checked the ignition coil yet. Was your issue constant, or intermittent? And did it throw any specific cylinder misfire codes?

Mine was intermittent at first, then became constant. Yes, cylinder misfire codes were present. Best bet is to take it to a workshop and have them diagnose it properly. Could save you some time and money.

Thanks. Took your advice and had it checked. Turns out it was indeed a defective fuel injector. Repair cost me 515€. Appreciate the help!
