Citroen C2 rough running
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Citroen C2 with a gasoline engine is experiencing rough running, difficulty starting, increased fuel consumption, low power, erratic idle, and occasional stalling. The suspected cause is a defective or dirty injection nozzle leading to misfires, as indicated by the emissions light being on. A similar issue was resolved by taking the car to a workshop, suggesting that professional repair might be the most effective solution.

Good to know I'm not alone! Yes, mine's gasoline. And yes, the emissions light is on. Did you ever figure out which injector was the culprit, or did you just replace them all?

Ah, gasoline and emissions light...yep, sounds almost identical to my issue. I didn't try to pinpoint which injector. Honestly, I just took it to a workshop. Best money I spent. Saved me a ton of frustration.

Okay, thanks! I was hoping to avoid the workshop, but it sounds like that might be the wisest choice, especially with the emissions light. Looks like I'm signing up for a 515€ repair bill.

Sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same symptoms on my C2 a while back. Was yours a diesel or gasoline engine? And did the emissions light come on?
