Citroen C3 AC not working

Hi, I'm having a problem with my 2005 Citroen C3 diesel. The air conditioning has stopped working completely. It doesn't cool at all, and it doesn't even seem to switch on. I've checked the fuses, and they seem okay. I also tried listening for the compressor clutch engaging, but I can't hear anything. Could it be a refrigerant leak, or perhaps the pressure switch? I really don't know where to start! Help!

Hey, I had a similar issue with my C3, though it's a newer model. My AC stopped blowing cold air all of a sudden. At first, I thought it was just low refrigerant, but after a recharge, it still wasn't working. Is there any strange AC noise coming from under the hood?

No strange AC noise that I can hear, just nothing. So you had the same symptoms in your C3? What did it turn out to be in the end?

Yeah, pretty much the same thing. In my case, it turned out to be a defect in one of the valves within the AC system. It's hard to diagnose without proper AC diagnostics tools. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. It cost me around 1000€ to get it fixed.
