Indeed, I examined the wiring harness and connectors. Visually, they appear intact, but I lack the specialized tools to test their electrical integrity. Was your issue explicitly linked to faulty wiring, or did it encompass other factors?

Well, I'm no expert, but in my case, fiddling with the connector seemed to help temporarily, which made me think it was a loose connection. Honestly, after that brief success, the problem came back even worse. I ended up just taking it to a shop. They diagnosed a faulty sensor and replaced it. Best money I ever spent! I'd advise doing the same.

Understood. Your experience reinforces my inclination to seek professional assistance. I appreciate the insight. The defective fuel pressure sensor was replaced at a cost of 95€. The issue is now resolved.

Oh, that sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my C3, though it was a while back. Check engine light, rough idle… the whole shebang. Have you checked the wiring harness and connectors leading to the fuel pressure sensor? Those Citroens can be a bit sensitive in that area.
