Thanks for the tips! Where exactly would I find the headlight range control module on a C3? And are there any specific pins on the electrical connectors I should be paying extra attention to when checking for corrosion or loose connections?

You're welcome. Locating the control module can be model-specific, but it is often found behind the dashboard or near the central electrics box. As for the connectors, focus on those pins associated with power and signal transmission to the servomotors. Consult a wiring diagram for your vehicle to pinpoint these. Given the complexity of modern lighting systems, if visual inspection and connector checks yield no results, consulting a workshop equipped with diagnostic tools is advisable. A complete repair could cost you around 1040€.

Appreciate the advice. After checking the wiring and connectors with no luck, I took it to a workshop. Turns out it was, as suspected, the servomotor. All sorted now, thanks!

The symptoms you describe certainly suggest a problem within the headlight range control system. Considering the error message and beam misalignment, the servomotor is a plausible suspect. However, before replacing it, I would recommend a thorough inspection of the electrical connectors and wiring leading to the headlight assembly. A loose connection or corroded terminal can sometimes mimic a faulty component. Also, check the control module itself for any signs of damage or water ingress.
