Citroen C3 petrol engine problems: indicator light, loss of power and rough running - Possible DMTL valve malfunction?

Hi guys, I've experienced something strange with my Citroen C3 gasoline engine, year of manufacture 2017. The indicator light is on, it's losing power, the engine is running rough, jerking when accelerating, and at idle it has even stalled and shuddered in the process. I suspect the DMTL valve to the tank ventilation system could be the culprit? Have any of you ever had a similar problem and can give me tips on how to better isolate and understand the problem? Hi, I had a similar problem with my Citroen C4, model year 2015. I'm not exactly a car professional, but I do have a bit of experience with cars. I took my car to a garage where they replaced the engine control unit. That was a lot of money, 1000 euros to be exact. They told me the problem is the engine control unit and this only happens in very rare cases. Can you tell me a bit more about yours? Is it the same type as mine? Hey, thanks for your reply. Yeah, that sounds pretty similar to what I'm going through. My Citroen is a C3, but the model year is 2017, so not that far off from yours either. Oh, and it's already done 43648 KM. Everything was ok at the last service, so I'm quite surprised about these problems. But your suggestion about the engine control unit could really help.
