Citroen C4 Audio System Failure

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with the audio system in my 2012 Citroen C4 (gasoline engine). The whole thing is dead - no sound at all. The mileage is at 23784 km. I checked the fuses, and they seem fine. I did a scan and there's an error stored, but I haven't been able to pinpoint the cause yet. Anyone experienced this?

Hello, I've got a Citroen C4 too, and I had a similar problem a while back. The whole sound system just quit. I was getting nothing, no radio, no Bluetooth, complete silence. Does it also happen when you try to use the Bluetooth?

Yep, exactly the same. No radio, no Bluetooth, nothing. Just silence. Did you also have an error code stored? How did you fix it? Was it expensive?

Indeed, I had the same symptoms. I didn't troubleshoot it myself, but I took it to a workshop, and they found that the display unit itself was defective, leading to the audio issues. I would recommend having a professional look at it. They will have the correct equipment to properly diagnose the cause.

Thanks for the info! I suspected it might be something like that. I'll take it to a shop and get it checked out. I got a quote for 725€, they also suspect the display is defective.
