Citroen C4 Automatic Transmission Issue

I'm having a weird problem with my 2018 Citroen C4 gasoline, it's at 102288 km. The automatic transmission seems faulty in park. It won't start, the check engine light is on, and the gearbox is slipping with rough shifts. The diagnostic shows an error stored. Could it be a bad control unit? Has anyone seen this before?

I had similar symptoms on my C4. Is it like when you try to start your car, and it acts like the handbrake isn't engaged, even though it is? It could be the transmission sensor, but check the fault codes first.

I didn't check them myself; I'm no expert. But, yes, it was definitely related to the transmission. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop.

Thanks for the help. Turns out it was a defective control unit. The repair cost 1000€, but it's fixed now.
