Citroen C4 Fog Sensor Issues

I'm having trouble with my 2022 Citroen C4 gasoline. It has about 165979 km. I think the fog sensor is faulty. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory, the air conditioning system won't switch on, the spray nozzles seem frozen even when it's not that cold, and the mirror heating isn't working. Could it be related?

Sounds familiar. I've got a C4 too, and those symptoms together definitely point towards the fog sensor. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the sensor itself? That was the culprit for me. Intermittent connection caused all sorts of weirdness with the climate control and other systems.

Where exactly is the fog sensor located? I've had a quick look, but couldn't immediately spot it. Is it easy to get to, or do I need to remove other parts?

On mine, it's behind the rearview mirror, integrated into the base. Accessing the plug can be a bit fiddly; you might need to remove the plastic shroud around the mirror mount. Honestly, if you're not comfortable with it, it might be worth a quick trip to a workshop. It could save you some hassle and potential damage.
