Citroen C5 Fault Code and Coding Issue

My 2022 Citroen C5 hybrid is throwing a fault code, and the dashboard is lit up. Error stored in memory, message in the infotainment system and speedometer. What gives?

Sounds like control module mayhem! I had similar craziness with my 2018 Volvo V60. The error was that the vehicle coding was incorrect. Is the car driving ok otherwise?

Incorrect coding, huh? How did you figure that out? And yeah, it drives fine, which makes this even more annoying!

My independent workshop ran diagnostics. They suspected the computer coding was off after a software installation. It's like your car's brain got scrambled. I'd get it checked professionally; they can recode the module.
