Citroen C5 Turn Signal Lamp Error
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Citroen C5 hybrid with 230,602 km is experiencing a turn signal lamp error, with a message on the speedometer and a visible lighting fault, despite the bulb appearing fine. The suspected cause is a defective cable or plug connection. Suggestions include checking the wiring harness for damage and gently moving the connected plug to identify a loose connection. The issue was confirmed to be a defective plug connection, which was repaired at a workshop.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check the wiring harness more thoroughly. When you say 'wiggling the connector', do you mean disconnecting and reconnecting it, or just physically moving the connected plug?

Just physically moving the connected plug – gently of course! The aim is to see if a loose connection is the root cause. However, given you also have an error stored in memory, it might be worth getting it checked professionally. A proper diagnostic tool could pinpoint the issue quickly. It's likely a connection problem as you suspect, but best to be sure.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to a workshop today, and you were right – it was a defective plug connection. Repair cost me 95€, all in. Thanks!

I had a similar issue with my previous car, a 2018 Peugeot. Error messages and light faults are often electrical. Did you check the wiring harness leading to the lamp assembly for any damage? Have you tried wiggling the connector while the signal is on to see if the fault appears?
