Citroen C6 Wiper Failure

Wipers totally dead, eh? First thing is to check the wiring harness and plug connections, especially near the wiper motor and the switch itself. Do the turn signals work okay? Sometimes a bad connection can affect multiple systems.

Thanks, I'll check the wiring harness. But could a defective turn signal cause the wipers to completely fail? I was under the impression the rain sensor would be more likely.

A defective turn signal is unlikely to cause your described problem. But there are some reports with similar issue related to a loose connection in the wiring harness. If you're not comfortable troubleshooting that, better to take it to a workshop. They should be able to diagnose it quickly. It's probably a defective cable or connector. I suspect it will result in about 95€.
