Citroen C8 Stalling Issue

I had similar symptoms on my Volvo V70. Misfires, limp mode, the works. Turned out to be a defective fuel pressure sensor. Have you checked the sensor readings? Could be a cheaper fix.

Sensor readings appear normal, but I'll recheck. Was your Volvo also showing these symptoms consistently, or intermittently? My C8 is a 2010 gasoline version.

Mine was intermittent at first, then became consistent. Given your symptoms and the low mileage, I'd still strongly suggest getting the fuel pressure sensor thoroughly checked before condemning the high-pressure pump. But if all else fails, workshop might be your best bet.

Fuel volume regulator was indeed defective; high pressure pump needed replacing. Repair cost 1510€. At least it's fixed.
