Citroen Ccrosser rough running

Hi, I'm having some trouble with my 2009 Citroen Ccrosser, gasoline engine, mileage at 229981 km. It's running really rough and sometimes stalls when idling. The check engine light is on, and it's jerking quite a bit when accelerating. I've checked the obvious things, and it seems like the cable or plug connection to one of the ignition coils might be defective. Anyone else experienced this?

Hey, sounds frustrating! I had a similar problem with my Ccrosser. Check engine light, rough running... the whole shebang. Was it a misfire?

Yeah, a definite misfire. I'm suspecting a faulty coil pack. Did you manage to fix it yourself, or did you take it to a shop?

Honestly, I messed around with it for a bit but eventually took it to a workshop. Turned out to be exactly that, a faulty coil pack. Best to get it sorted properly, you know?

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a shop and you were spot on. Replaced the defective ignition coil and now runs smoothly. Cost me 95€, but well worth it!
