Citroen DS5 Air Suspension Problem

I've got a 2011 Citroen DS5 with a diesel engine experiencing air suspension issues. The car sits low and leans. The speedometer shows a suspension error, the ride is bumpy, and there's a stored fault. Could a defective air spring valve cause this? It has 160963 km on the clock.

I had similar symptoms on my old Volvo. The whole car felt unstable, and I got error messages about the suspension. Is the car hissing at all? Check for air leaks near the air springs.

Thanks! I'll check for hissing tomorrow. Can I replace the valve myself, or do I need special equipment?

While technically possible, diagnosing the issue and safely working with the air suspension requires specialized knowledge and equipment. Given the complexity and safety risks, I recommend taking your Citroen DS5 to a qualified workshop.

Thanks again. The shop confirmed the air suspension bellows valve was defective. It cost 590€ to fix, but the ride is smooth again!
