Citroen DS5 Anti-Theft Alarm Issue

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my 2016 Opel Astra. Has the alarm ever gone off randomly? Did the mechanic mention if the car was coded to have the indicators flashing?

Randomly? No, not really. I'm not sure about the indicators flash, the mechanic was not very specific. Is that something I should check?

Worth checking. My Astra was activating optical locking, which messed with the alarm. Check your car's manual. Eventually, I had to take it to a workshop to get properly diagnosed. I'd advise you to do the same, as soon as possible.

Cheers. Turns out the alarm was coded to activate the hazard lights on locking! 45€ later, it was fixed. I appreciate the help!
