Citroen DS5 electrical malfunction and navigation failure

Hi, I'm having a nightmare with my 2013 Citroen DS5 with a gasoline engine. The car's throwing up errors, I'm getting a 'Error stored in the error memory' message, along with what feels like a general electrical malfunction. The navigation system is completely dead. My local garage ran diagnostics and reckons it's something to do with 'programming of the control unit implausible'. Does that ring any bells? They're quoting around 240€ for a recalibration. Seems steep – has anyone else had similar ECU problems?

Sounds familiar. I've got a DS5, and I had similar gremlins a while back. Electrical issues and the nav system packing it in, you say? Was anything else acting up?

Yeah, pretty much just those things: error message, electrical weirdness (lights flickering a bit), and the dead nav. What was it like with yours? Was it definitely the control unit programming?

Yep, sounds like the same issue. Best bet is to get it looked at properly. Sounds like the workshop is on the right track. A recalibration should sort it. Not ideal, I know.

Thanks for the info! I took it to the garage. They did a software reset, and it seems to have sorted it. Cheers for the advice, it really helped!
