Citroen Jumper AC failure

Experiencing an issue with my 2022 Citroen Jumper electric van. The air conditioning system has stopped working. It doesn't engage when activated, and there's an error code. Anyone encountered a similar problem?

I had a similar issue with my Jumper a while back. The A/C would just randomly cut out. Have you checked the AC relay? That was the culprit in my case. Seemed like undervoltage was causing it to trip. Does the compressor make any noise before shutting off, or does it just silently fail?

I haven't specifically examined the AC relay. Could you provide more detail regarding its location and how to test it? Also, I haven't noticed any unusual noises from the compressor prior to the system shutting down; it simply ceases operation.

Right, so it's like a light switch just flicking off. In my van, the relay was near the fuse box in the engine compartment - check your manual for the exact location. Honestly, unless you have a multimeter and know how to use it, you're probably better off taking it to a workshop. Could be a refrigerant leak too, but the relay is the easier thing to check first. They should be able to diagnose it quickly. Mine needed a new relay and a system check.

I appreciate the advice. I scheduled an appointment with a qualified technician to diagnose the issue. It seems that the undervoltage issue was indeed the root cause, as the workshop confirmed. The AC relay was replaced, and the air conditioning system is now functioning correctly. Total repair cost was 240€.
