Citroen Jumper emergency call system error

My 2003 Citroen Jumper with a gasoline engine is acting up. The emergency call system is failing. I've got an error, a message on the speedometer, and a warning light. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my 2018 Opel Insignia. It turned out to be a defective plug connection. Have you checked the cable connections? Maybe there's a loose connection.
