Citroen Jumper Exhaust Temperature Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Citroen Jumper diesel experienced issues with the check engine light, reduced power, and increased fuel consumption. The suspected cause was a faulty exhaust temperature sensor, possibly due to its age and original condition. After a workshop diagnosis confirmed the sensor was defective, replacing it resolved the performance issues.

It's the original sensor. Wiring looks okay, no frays. If the sensor's gone bad, would that really make the engine run that rough?

Given that the sensor is original and you're experiencing multiple symptoms, it is probable that the sensor is indeed faulty. I suggest taking it to a workshop for a comprehensive diagnosis.

Took your advice, hauled it to a shop. You nailed it the exhaust temperature sensor was duff! New sensor and labor came to 265€. Runs like a dream now!

Reduced engine power and higher fuel consumption could be linked to a faulty exhaust temperature sensor. How old is the sensor, and have you checked the wiring and connections for damage or corrosion?
