Citroen Jumpy electrical malfunctions

Thanks for the quick response. I checked the voltage, and it seems lower than expected when the engine is running. Where did you find the parasitic drain? Did you solve the issue by yourself?

Low voltage when running definitely points towards a charging system issue. I did not find any parasitic drain, as tracing electrical faults can be a headache. I decided to take it to a workshop. I'm afraid you will need professional repair too, as without diagnosis tools, you will spend too much time on it. It is like trying to find a needle in a haystack without a magnet. So, I needed some expert help.

Alright, thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and it turned out the auxiliary battery was indeed faulty and not charging correctly. Replacement and diagnostics came to around 290€. Appreciate the help!

I have a Jumpy, and I once faced very similar symptoms. Error messages popping up randomly, sluggish starts, and the feeling that the electrics were just 'off'. Check your battery voltage when the engine is running. Is it where it should be, around 14V? A significant voltage drop could indicate a charging problem, like a faulty alternator, or a parasitic drain. It's like a leaky bucket – the alternator is trying to fill it (charge the battery), but something is constantly draining it faster than it can fill.
