Citroen Nemo MAF Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Citroen Nemo diesel exhibited higher fuel consumption, engine stalling when idling, a check engine light, and smoke during acceleration. These symptoms suggested a potential issue with the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. After consulting with others who had similar experiences, it was advised to have the MAF sensor checked. A mechanic confirmed the MAF sensor was faulty, and replacing it resolved the issues.

Thanks for the reply. I glanced at the air intake, seemed okay at first sight. But what exactly should I be looking for?

Well, with my Astra it was a faulty MAF sensor. The garage confirmed that. Considering your symptoms, it points in a similar direction. I would suggest visiting a workshop to be sure.

Alright, thanks for the advice. I took it to a local mechanic, and it was indeed the LMM/MAF sensor. Cost me 365€ to replace. Runs smoothly now.

Hey, sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra. Same symptoms: performance decline, check engine light on... Did you check the air intake for any obstructions?
