The symptoms include black smoke from the exhaust, engine light activation, lack of power, rough running, jerking during acceleration, loud hissing, stalling, wobbling, and a whistling noise. Hi buddy, thanks for the info! My SpaceTourer already has 108106 km on the clock. The last service was just a few months ago. Do you think this could be a similar problem with the turbocharger? Your repair costs sound really hefty, hopefully it won't be that expensive for me.

Hi, well, the mileage sounds pretty high for a diesel car from 2022. It could definitely be a problem with your turbocharger. All the symptoms you've described point to that. However, I can only speculate and a workshop could give you an exact answer. Maintenance also plays a big role here, good maintenance can help prevent such major mechanical problems. It may not be as expensive for you as it was for me, it depends on the exact cause and degree of damage. I would advise you to get it checked as soon as possible to prevent any further damage from occurring. I hope this helps you and I wish you all the best!

That's really nice of you, thanks for your quick advice and your frank words! I'm really worried about my car now. I'll probably have no choice but to take it to my garage and have it checked there. Your advice has been very helpful. It's great that you've already had such experiences and that you're sharing them with us here. It's a great help! So long, wish me luck that it doesn't get too expensive....

Hi mate, I had a similar problem with my Citroen Berlingo, which is only two years older, so from 2020. I have a bit of experience with cars, but I'm no expert. After hearing this strange noise, I went to my garage and had it checked. It turned out to be mechanical damage to the turbocharger. It was a painful bill to get it fixed, I paid 1070 euros. Could you please give me more information about your car? Such as the mileage and possibly the maintenance history? That might help give a more accurate estimate. It definitely sounds like something is going on with your boost pressure system. But remember, I'm not a professional!
