A frosty morning, indeed! It's quite possible that the malfunction coincided with one. As for the fuses, yes, I have meticulously checked them, and they all appear to be in perfect working order. Do you think this further points to a cable or plug connection issue, as I suspect?

Yes, it sounds very familiar. In my case, it turned out to be a faulty connection, just as you suspected. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they sorted it out quickly. I would advise you do the same.

I appreciate you sharing your experience; it is most enlightening. Given your insights, I shall heed your advice and entrust my vehicle to a qualified workshop. The estimated repair cost of 95€ seems reasonable enough. Thank you again for your assistance!

Interesting issue. I also own a Honda City hybrid, and I had a similar problem last year. Was it after a frosty morning when you first noticed the mirror heating malfunction? Did you check the fuses?
