Interesting! Fuel economy seems normal, but I haven't really checked. No weird smells either. How did you pinpoint the fuel injector? I’m getting combustion misfire errors by the way. I'm praying it isn't something massively expensive.

The diagnostic codes pointed to misfires, and after swapping some parts around we narrowed it down to a faulty injector. Best to get it checked by a professional, but combustion misfires plus rough idle does sound like the injectors may be defective.

Well, that's not the news I wanted, but I appreciate the insight! Took it to my local mechanic and they confirmed that the injector was defective and quoted me 515€ for the repair. Thanks for putting me on the right track!

I have a Civic too, though not a hybrid. Sounds similar to an issue I had a while back. Did you notice any change in your fuel economy or any weird smells? My throttle response was awful, and it turned out to be a fuel injector issue.
