Civic Hybrid Fuel Level Sensor Fault

My 2022 Honda Civic Hybrid is acting up. 76,045 km, and the check engine light is on. It even stalled a couple of times while idling! My OBD reader says it's a fuel level sensor fault. I checked the fuel level sensor fuse, but it's fine. Has anyone else seen this sensor issue?

Summary of the thread

Sounds rough. I had something similar with my Civic. Check engine light, rough idle... same symptoms. What error code are you getting?

I'm getting P0461, which points to a fuel level sensor fault. Was that your error, too? Did you fix the sensor yourself?

Yep, P0461 sounds familiar! Fuel systems can be tricky. The repair cost me 52€. I'd recommend a trusted workshop to diagnose it properly and get you back on the road safely.

Thanks for the advice! You're right, fuel systems aren't something to mess with. I booked it with my mechanic. It was the fuel level sensor. They replaced it, and the car's running smoothly again!
