Thanks for the tip! I haven't tried anything yet, to be honest. Where would I even start with an injector test? Is that something I can do myself, or do I need special equipment?

Testing them properly requires some gear. My Megane was doing the same thing and I was hoping a clean would sort it, but it turned out to be a faulty injector valve. I ended up having to take it to a shop to get it sorted. Cost a few quid to diagnose. I'd go straight to a trustworthy workshop instead of fiddling around.

Appreciate the advice! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – faulty cold start injector. Quoted 515€ for the repair. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane, a diesel though. Rough idle and difficult starts when cold. Have you checked the fuel system at all? Maybe try an injector test or even just a fuel injector cleaner?
