CLA tire pressure ABS and steering issues
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Mercedes CLA diesel experienced issues with a low tire pressure warning, an ABS light, and impaired steering. The problem was traced to a defective tire valve causing slow pressure loss. This pressure loss triggered the ABS and power steering issues. Replacing the valve and resetting the system resolved the problem.

Thanks I checked all the inflated tires and the pressure loss seems to be only one tire. Since the ABS light is also on and the steering feels impaired, is it still likely to be just the valve, or could there be something else?

While it could still be the valve stem, the other symptoms suggest the ABS system might be involved, which can affect power steering. It's like one thing triggers another. Given the symptoms, it's probably best to have a workshop take a look. They can diagnose if the ABS issue is related to the pressure loss or something else.

Thanks for the advice. I visited a workshop. It was a defective valve in the tire, causing slow pressure loss and triggering the ABS and power steering issues. The valve was replaced, and the system reset. The repair was 280€.

I had something similar with my CLA. The low tire pressure warning was on, and the steering felt off. Did you check all your tires? It could be a slow air leak. I'd suggest inflating the tires to the correct pressure and seeing if the pressure loss returns quickly. A faulty valve stem is a real possibility. Does the pressure loss happen after you've inflated tires?
