Clarity camshaft sensor issue

Has anyone experienced camshaft sensor issues with their 2021 Honda Clarity hybrid? Mine has 223525 km, starts poorly, occasionally stalls at idle, and the check engine light is on. I suspect the camshaft sensor, possibly due to a defective encoder wheel.

Oh my goodness, I think I had something like this happen with my Clarity. The car stalling at idle is a BIG problem, I was so stressed at traffic lights! Was it misfiring too, perhaps? I hope you figure it out!

Misfiring isn't really noticeable, but the rough idle could mask it. Did your check engine light point specifically to the camshaft sensor? Trying to narrow down the possibilities before I start replacing parts.

To be honest, I don't remember the exact code, I am so sorry!! But I do remember googling the symptoms, and the camshaft sensor came up a LOT. I would suggest going to a workshop, they should be able to check properly.

The camshaft sensor was indeed defective, as suspected. Turns out the encoder wheel was the culprit. Cost me 695€ for the repair.
