I haven't checked the flap motor specifically. Where exactly is it located, and how would I test it? And what do you mean by a noticeable difference in engine performance? What kind of difference?

I did not check it myself. Given the symptoms, particularly the stored error and noise, and the possibility of a defective exhaust flap, a visit to a workshop for diagnosis is highly advisable. This was my course of action. The eventual repair cost 190€

Thanks a lot for the advice! It seems like a trip to the workshop is the best course of action. I'll post what I learn about the defective exhaust flaps.

Louder exhaust noise points to a potential exhaust blockage or exhaust flaps malfunction. Have you checked the flap motor? I had a similar issue - is your engine performance noticeably different?
