Clio audio system failure

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old Peugeot 207. The radio would just cut out randomly. Have you noticed any distortion or crackling before it died completely? Also, have you tried adjusting the volume control, just in case it's something simple?

No distortion or crackling at all, it just went silent. I did try the volume control, no luck unfortunately. Could it be something with the bass speaker? I heard those can cause issues.

Yeah, a defective bass speaker could definitely be the culprit. It might be worth getting it checked out by a professional. I ended up taking my Peugeot to a workshop for diagnostics; turned out to be a faulty amp. Cost me around 280€ to fix.

Thanks for the advice! I'll take it to a workshop and have them check the bass speaker and amp. Hopefully, it won't cost too much. I'll let you know what happens.
