Clio central locking failure

Central locking on my 2021 Renault Clio Hybrid has stopped working. Doors won't lock with the fob or interior switch. Error memory has central locking errors. With 189536 km, I suspect a defective cable or plug. Any ideas before I pay for repairs?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Clio a while back. Is the car alarm going nuts too, or is it just the door locks?

Thanks! The car alarm isn't triggering, just the central locking and the inability to secure the vehicle. Was your experience the same, and did you find the cause?

Yeah, mine was just the door locks, no alarm issues. Honestly, after messing with it for a bit, I just took it to a workshop. Saved myself a headache. Probably the best bet!

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and they found a defective plug connection as suspected. Repair cost was 95€. Thanks again!
