Clio diesel brake feedback

My 2012 Renault Clio diesel is giving me some grief. Mileage is sitting at 169524 km. The brakes feel completely shot; getting really strange feedback through the pedal. The discs look pretty worn, but I suspect undervoltage is at play here, given some other electrical quirks I've been seeing. Anyone experienced similar?

Worn discs can definitely cause that feedback, especially if they're metal on metal. Have you checked the brake fluid level? Low fluid can also cause pedal issues. When was the last time the brakes were replaced?

Fluid level is fine, topped it up just last month after a service. I had a look at the discs but they're hydraulic brakes, surely they would last longer. What sort of undervoltage related brake issues have you seen before?

Ah, right. I haven't personally seen undervoltage messing with brakes, but I've heard it can cause weird ABS behaviour. Given the worn discs anyway, sounds like a job for a proper workshop.

Appreciate the input. Took it to the shop; you were spot on. Discs and pads were toast. Got them replaced for 240€. Back to normal now.
