Clio electric seat failure
Summary of the thread
The passenger electric seat in a 2022 Renault Clio Hybrid is unresponsive, with an error stored, leading to speculation about the cause. A heavily discharged or defective battery is considered a potential cause, but wiring issues or a faulty seat harness are also suggested. The problem is resolved after a workshop visit, indicating a more complex issue possibly related to the seat module rather than the battery.

The seat is completely unresponsive. I haven't checked the wiring thoroughly yet, but I will. If the wiring is sound, what's your next suggestion?

Okay, completely unresponsive points to a bigger issue than just a loose connection. Check the seat harness. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop; they'll have the proper diagnostic tools to pinpoint the problem quickly. It could be a module issue with the seat, not the battery.

Thanks for the advice. A workshop visit proved fruitful. Issue diagnosed and fixed, costing 290€. I appreciate your input regarding the potential causes.

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Clio (petrol engine, though). Is it totally dead, or just intermittent? I bet it's something to do with the seat wiring or the seat harness. Did you check the seat wiring for damage or loose connections?
