Clio engine stalls fuel composition error

Thanks! Fuel economy seems normal, but I'm not really sure what an engine knock sounds like. Could it really be just a sensor, even with the stalling?

It's possible. The stalling could be a consequence of the ECU trying to compensate for what it thinks is a bad fuel mixture. Given the error and the symptoms, a defective cable or plug connection of a component seems like a plausible cause. To be sure, you should bring your car to a workshop.

Alright, thanks. I took it to the shop, and you were spot on! A wire to the fuel composition sensor was loose. They fixed the connection for 95€. Runs like a charm now!

Incorrect fuel composition errors can be tricky. I've seen similar issues on other cars, and often it boils down to a sensor malfunction or a wiring problem. Have you noticed any changes in fuel economy or any unusual engine knock?
