Clio Hybrid Check Engine Light

I'm experiencing a problem with my 2020 Renault Clio Hybrid. The check engine light is on, and I suspect an air valve issue. The car has 75480 km on it. Could this be a faulty hose connection between the pump and the valve? I've read about throttle body problems and vacuum leaks causing similar symptoms.

Hey! Check engine light, huh? Sounds like a pain. Yeah, that hose connection thing could be it. Is the engine stalling at all? Could also be the air intake. Has the car been running rough?

Thanks for the quick reply! No, the engine isn't stalling, and it's running smoothly otherwise. I just have this check engine light on. Could a minor vacuum leak really trigger the light if the engine runs ok?

Yep, even a small vacuum leak can cause that light to pop up. If it's not stalling, it might still be affecting performance slightly without you noticing. Best bet? Get it checked at a workshop. They can run diagnostics and pinpoint the issue exactly. Could save you a headache!

Okay, I appreciate the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. It was a defective hose connection from the pump to the valve. The repair cost me 175€. Thanks again for your help!
