Clio Hybrid Coolant Loss

I'm having a panic with my 2023 Renault Clio Hybrid. The coolant level is constantly dropping. The check engine light keeps popping up, and I plugged in an OBD reader which threw up a generic error code. Could it be a coolant leak, or something worse like the head gasket? I've checked the radiator hoses, and can't see anything obvious!

Low coolant in a modern hybrid could indicate several potential issues. Have you noticed any white smoke from the exhaust, or any overheating? It could be a simple leak, but air pockets are also possible. Is the cooling fan working correctly?

No white smoke, and the engine temp seems okay, no overheating. The cooling fan comes on as expected. I keep topping it up but the level keeps going down. What do you mean by air pockets and is that something I can resolve myself?

Air pockets can form after coolant changes, preventing accurate level readings. However, given the fault code and persistent loss, a defective cable or plug connection of a component is likely. I advise getting it checked by a qualified workshop.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a shop as you suggested, and it was indeed a faulty sensor connection like you said. 95€ later and all good! Appreciate the help!
