Clio hybrid engine power loss

I've got a 2020 Renault Clio Hybrid with 215797 km. I've noticed a decline in engine power, the check engine light is on, and the engine runs roughly with jerking during acceleration. Could this be a lean fuel mixture? I'm thinking it could be a malfunctioning fuel injector, a dirty throttle body, or intake manifold issues affecting the air-fuel ratio. Could faulty spark plugs cause this?

I had a similar experience with my Clio. Reduced engine power, rough running, and jerking acceleration are definitely not signs to ignore. Have you considered that the fuel injectors could be the problem? I would recommend taking it to a workshop.

Thanks, I appreciate you sharing your experience. Did you also get a 'running lean' error code? If so, what steps did you take to diagnose the problem, and what components did you find to be the primary cause?

Yes, the error code indicated a lean running condition. I didn't delve too deeply into the diagnostics myself. I brought it to a qualified technician because of the fuel injection system's complexity and the need for specialized tools. The final bill came to 515€. Perhaps the best thing would be to seek professional help to ensure a thorough and accurate assessment.

I'm grateful for your input and will take your advice and bring it to a qualified technician. I will report back with their findings. They confirmed the likely cause is a defective fuel injector. Thank you again.
