Clio Hybrid No Start
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Clio hybrid with nearly 200,000 km wouldn't start, and an engine control malfunction was suspected. The battery voltage appeared normal, but bad cable connections were considered a possible cause. After checking the basics, it was confirmed that the issue was indeed due to poor battery cable connections, which were resolved at a cost of 155€.

Check engine light is on, yes. I suspected the ECU too. Is there a way to test the cable connections without specialized equipment? What readings am I looking for?

Hmm, check engine light and ECU suspicion... sounds a bit beyond basic DIY. Honestly, without proper tools, testing the cable connections thoroughly can be tricky. I'd hate for you to chase a ghost. Maybe a workshop with proper engine diagnostics equipment could pinpoint the issue faster and prevent further headaches? Worth considering, right?

You were right, it was the cable connections of the battery, they were not good. Cost me 155€ to get it sorted. Thanks for the advice.

Engine won't start at all, huh? I had a similar issue with my old car, though it wasn't a hybrid. Did the check engine light come on? Have you tried any basic diagnostics, like listening for the fuel pump when you turn the key? Could also be a dodgy ECU issue. Did you check the cable connections?
