When you say 'module's coding,' do you mean the software configuration? I've never recoded a module. Can a standard scan tool manage it, or do I need something more advanced?

Precisely, the software configuration. Some advanced scan tools might allow coding adjustments, but it's complex. Given the error messages on the infotainment and speedometer, and the stored fault code, I'd recommend a workshop check. Incorrect coding can cause a cascade of issues. In my case it turned out to be exactly that, and required specialized equipment to rectify.

Thanks for the advice. A workshop seems best. I'll get it checked and report the repair. My scan tool is basic, so I'll leave recoding to the pros. The issue was indeed incorrect vehicle coding. The car is now fixed. Repair cost: 360€

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my Renault Clio. These issues often stem from the car's control module. Have you checked the module's coding? A diagnostic scanner should help.
