Clio injection nozzle issue

Hi, I have a 2020 Renault Clio with a gasoline engine, mileage is at 79010 km. I'm experiencing some issues: poor starts, higher fuel consumption, reduced engine power, uneven idling, and the engine sometimes stalls. Could this be related to a defective injection nozzle?

I had a similar problem with my Clio. Those symptoms definitely point towards fuel delivery issues. Have you checked for any OBD codes? A faulty injector will often trigger a code related to emissions or fuel trim.

Thanks for the quick reply. I haven't checked the OBD codes yet. What kind of code did you get on your car and what did you do to fix it?

In my case, the OBD code indicated a misfire and lean running condition, suggesting an injector issue. I initially tried fuel injector cleaner, but the problem persisted. Given the symptoms and the mileage, it’s likely the injection valve is dirty and needs professional attention. I suggest getting it checked at a workshop.

Thanks a lot! I'll take it to the workshop as you suggested. The mechanic confirmed it was a defective injector and the repair cost 515€. The car runs fine now.
