Clio Oil Pressure and Temperature Sensor Issue

I'm having an issue with my 2020 Renault Clio diesel. I've got about 247749 km on it. A warning light is on, and there's an error code stored. Plus, the oil pressure light comes on sometimes. I think it might be the engine oil temperature sensor, maybe a bad cable or plug. Anyone seen this before?

I had something similar with my Clio, though I don't remember the code. Your symptoms sound familiar. Did you check the sensor's wiring for damage or corrosion? Are you monitoring the oil temperature with an OBD-II scanner to see what the sensor is reporting?

Thanks. I checked the wiring and connector, but didn't see anything obvious. With the OBD-II scanner, what parameter should I watch, and what's a bad reading?

If the wiring looks okay, and the oil pressure light is on too, get it checked at a workshop. The oil temp sensor might be misleading, and low oil pressure is dangerous. Don't drive it much until it's fixed. In my case, it was the temp sensor, and the garage found a faulty connection.

Thanks for the advice. I'm booking a mechanic. Just so you know, the repair cost 95€.
