Clio steering vibration

Alright Clio fam, I'm pulling my hair out here! My 2020 Renault Clio hybrid is giving me grief. Just hit 144793 km and the steering is going bonkers. Feels like the power steering is failing, takes way more effort to turn, and the steering wheel is vibrating like crazy. Could this be the angle sensor messing with the traction control? Has anyone else dealt with a faulty steering angle sensor on these things? I'm guessing the coding is off, but what do I know?

Sounds familiar. I had something similar happen with my Clio. Is your steering wheel shaking?

Yeah, the steering wheel's shaking like it's trying to escape! Was it the steering angle sensor in your case too? Any idea what might have caused it?

Yep, vibrating steering wheel. I'd bet it's the steering angle sensor. Honestly, I'd just take it to a workshop. Seems like a common issue.

Cheers! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. The steering angle sensor was indeed defective, probably due to faulty coding. Got it replaced, cost me 195€, and now it's driving like a dream again. Thanks for the heads-up!
