Clio water sensor issue

My 2010 Renault Clio diesel is having a problem that I think is the water sensor. The malfunction indicator lamp is on, and a scan shows an error code for the sensor. The engine is running rough. I suspect a bad cable or plug. Has anyone seen this?

Oh, sounds familiar! I had a similar scare with my Clio. Check Engine light flashing. Is it running rough, like it's about to stall? For me it was the water sensor, causing havoc. Made the car feel like it was choking. Hope you get it sorted, its no fun.

Yeah, pretty much identical. Rough running, felt like it was going to cut out anytime I stopped at lights. I tried fiddling with the sensor connection myself, but no luck. Honestly, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get it checked out properly. Could save you a headache!
